Our first speaker at our Tuesday, June 8 meeting will be Dr. Scott Jensen, Republican running against Tim Walz for governor of Minnesota. Dr. Jensen will tell us why Gov. Walz has it all wrong and about his priorities for Minnesota and his vision for a new style of governing.
In our next hour, our principal speaker, Kendall Qualls, will tell us about controversial Critical Race Theory (CRT) which claims that racism is embedded in all our institutions, designed to benefit white people at the expense of blacks, and is a scheme to transform our communities and the very principles on which our country was founded.
Kendall will also suggest solutions to enduring problems in minority communities. Kendall, married for 37 years with four children, has 25 nieces and nephews, none of whom grew up in a two-parent family. Kendall is black and a veteran, healthcare executive and 2020 Republican candidate for the Third Congressional District. At our meeting, he will tell us about his new organization, Take Charge, and the message he and his team are delivering to black youth.
