You are welcome to come to our regularly scheduled Senate District 49 BPOU (basic political operating unit) meeting. You'll find out more about what we're working on, now and upcoming. Isn't it time to get involved? We want to meet you! Just RSVP below.

Visitors will be encouraged to introduce themselves and ask questions, but cannot vote on SD 49  business.

OFFICIAL CONVENTION CALL

TO: REPUBLICAN DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES OF THE 49th SENATE DISTRICT

Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of the Republican Party of Minnesota, the caucus delegates residing in the 49th Senate District are called to meet at:

Central Middle School
8025 School Rd., Eden Prairie, MN 55344 on
Saturday March 21, 2026 at 10 AM

Registration will open at 9 AM and closes 30 minutes after the convention is called to order.

The 49th Senate District Organizing Convention shall be composed of the delegates and alternates elected at the 2026 precinct caucuses, designated as lying within the boundaries of the 49th Senate District.

The Convention shall be held for the purposes of:

1. Electing Delegates and Alternates to the Third Congressional District Republican Convention and State Convention.

• • CD3 convention is to be held on Saturday April 25, 2026 at Hennepin County Technical School in Brooklyn Park.  See CD3 Convention info for details.
  • State Republican Convention is to be held on Friday and Saturday May 29-30, 2026 in Duluth
  • If you wish to be placed on the ballot to be a delegate to these conventions, please sign up here.  Applications will close on Thursday March 19th at 6 pm.
    
    

2. Endorsing Republican Candidates to run for Senate District 49 Legislative Offices.

3. Transacting other business that may properly come before the Convention.

Registration fee is $35 in advance by Friday March 20 via this website (below) or $40 at the door. 
Guest fee is $20. These fees can be reimbursed through your PCR refund.
