Under Minnesota law, all residents 18 years or older who contribute to qualified political organizations, such as SD49, can apply for and receive a full refund for up to $75 per individual or $150 per couple, in total per year, through the state’s Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program. 

Take advantage of your PCR dollars and support your all-volunteer SD49 Republicans! Simply follow these simple steps for a refund:

STEP 1

Contribute Fastest and Easiest:

A) Online at our website:  www.49mngop.com 

or 

B) Mail your check made out to SD 49 Republicans

(Note: Minnesota law prohibits political committees from accepting contributions from businesses)

STEP 2

After our SD 49 Treasurer receives your contribution, we will promptly mail you an official EP-3 receipt and a MN Department of Revenue refund form.

STEP 3

Complete the refund form (it takes about 2 minutes) and mail it in, along with your EP-3 receipt, to the Minnesota Department of Revenue.  The address to mail it is on the form.  For refund of a 2024 contribution, you have until April 15, 2025 to mail this in.

STEP 4

The State of Minnesota will mail you a check or initiate a direct deposit fully refunding your qualifying contribution (up to $75/person, $150/couple) in approximately 4-6 weeks.
