Over 60 Republicans turned out on March 11 for our monthly social networking and happy hour event called Pints & Politics. For the first time, we were hosted by the four senate districts covering Bloomington, Richfield, Edina, Eden Prairie, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, and Golden Valley. Republicans from such adjoining areas as Bethel, Chaska, Eagan, Minnetonka, Plymouth, and even Minneapolis stopped in!
The great people of Senate District 61, from the southwest neighborhoods of Minneapolis, will join us in co-hosting the next Pints & Politics on Monday evening, April 8, at Poor Richard’s Commonhouse, 8301 Normandale Blvd, Bloomington.
Pints & Politics is not a venue for formal speeches and dry discussions. If you want a casual opportunity to meet and get to know other local Republicans, this is about as good as it gets. At our March event, we had the chance to talk to a Republican state legislator, state party officers, and local party activists.
We anticipate that sone of the candidates for MN GOP chair, deputy chair, and secretary will drop in on April 8. This would be a great opportunity to meet and talk one-on-one with these candidates about their plans for the party over the next two years.
Come as early as 5 pm to enjoy happy hour prices. Or drop in up to 7:30 pm, as many of us will still be there.
Register in advance for a discount - $8 on-line to help defray the cost of a selection of appetizers. Or pay $10 at the door. And bring a friend!
