With a nod to the CD3 Congressional Candidate forum on April 11 at Wayzata Central Middle School, the Pints & Politics event normally held on that date will be delayed one week.

Republicans in or near the southwest metropolitan area are invited adjust their schedules to join us on Monday, April 18. We will kick off at 5:00 pm at The Tavern on France, 6740 France Ave S, Edina.

Pints & Politics is primarily a networking event.  With endorsing conventions coming up in April and May, however, Republican candidates will be given the opportunity to speak for a few minutes after 7 pm.  This is a great chance to talk one-on-one with our candidates, then listen to them address the crowd.

Declared Candidates:  you can come for free, just let us know in advance that you are coming.  As we get closer to the event, we will alert you to our special guests.   

If you RSVP before the deadline of April 16, you can enjoy the $14 early registration price.  This fee covers your first drink and great flatbread pizza appetizers!  Under our arrangement with the Tavern, our servers will only accept drink tickets.  Please scroll down to RSVP and save your spot. 

If you purchase a ticket after April 16, the price is $19.  Additional drink tickets available for $9 each.  We urge you to use the drink tickets rather than buy drinks at the bar to help us cover the room minimum.  The drink tickets are good for one draft beer or one glass of house wine or unlimited sodas.

Come as early as 5 pm or drop in up to 7:30 pm, as many of us will still be there. Take a break, have a beverage and talk in-person with local party leaders, candidates, and a number of genuinely good people.
