October 2019 Pints & Politics

Pints-and-Politics-1.jpgThe monthly social networking and happy hour event for Republicans called Pints & Politics is on tap for mid-October.

The Southwest Metropolitan Pints & Politics will again be held on the second Monday, October 14, at Poor Richard’s Commonhouse, 8301 Normandale Blvd, Bloomington.

Senate Districts 46, 48, 49, and 50 will co-host this event, bringing together Republicans from Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Golden Valley, Hopkins, Medicine Lake, Plymouth, Richfield, and Saint Louis Park.

All Republican candidates in the area are urged to come and bring campaign signs and literature.  We have enjoyed stops by Ryan Kulka and Yvette Baudelaire, candidates for mayor in Bloomington and Saint Louis Park, as well as city council candidates including Joe Israel (Saint Louis Park) and Al Noard and Sue Woodruff (Bloomington).

We promise you, no speeches.  Rather, you will have a great opportunity to talk about plans, issues, and opportunities to get involved.

We hold Pints & Politics on the second Monday of every month. You can look forward to meeting a lot of great people. This is the place to greet old friends and meet new ones.

Come as early as 5 pm to enjoy happy hour prices. Or drop in up to 7:30 pm, as many of us will still be there. Have a beer and talk one-on-one with state party officers, local party leaders, and a number of genuinely good people.

Scroll down to register in advance. You can now register early for $7 on-line to help defray the cost of a selection of appetizers. Or pay $10 at the door (cash or check). Credit cards cannot be accepted at the door.
