POLITICAL ANALYST AND COMMENTATOR ANNETTE MEEKS TO REVIEW LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Leading activist, Freedom Foundation of Minnesota CEO, will share background and likely outcomes at MRW breakfast meeting at Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights
Experienced public policy export and veteran government leader Annette Meeks will recap the likely impact of actions taken at this year’s Minnesota legislative session at the Metro Republican Women breakfast meeting on Saturday, June 11, at Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights.
Meeks, the CEO of the Freedom Foundation of Minnesota, speaks out regularly on government issues and has served in several posts in Minnesota and the federal government, including serving as a top assistant to Newt Gingrich, then Speaker of the House.
“Annette Meeks brings wide experience in the public policy sector and her astute judgment is highly respected by conservatives across the state,” said Margaret Flower, the president of MRW. “Our members are thankful for the important role she plays in helping develop policies that promote economic progress and sound values.
The June 11 event begins with registration at 8:30 a.m., a buffet breakfast at 8:45 and the program at 9:00 at Mendakota Country Club, 2075 Mendakota Drive in Mendota Heights. The cost is $18 for members, $20 for non-members and $10 for students. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are encouraged.
Those interested may go to metrogopwomen.org to pay online or to make a reservation and pay at the door. Reservations are requested by Tuesday, June 7th.

It is part of the Minnesota Federation of Republican Women and National Federation of Republican Women.
