Our monthly happy hour event called Pints & Politics continues to be a lively and well-attended social networking event. We are drawing a good number of people from Minneapolis, Bloomington, Richfield, Edina, Eden Prairie, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Golden Valley, and outlying areas.
We are looking forward to talking with at least three of the candidates who recently filed for Bloomington mayor and city council. Ryan Kulka, Dan Niziolek, and Sue Woodruff are planning to stop by. We promise you, no formal speeches or dry discussions. If you want a casual opportunity to meet and get to know other local Republicans, this is about as good as it gets.
We hold Pints & Politics on the second Monday of every month. Our next gathering will occur on Monday, June 10, at Poor Richard’s Commonhouse, 8301 Normandale Blvd, Bloomington. You can look forward to meeting a lot of great people. This is the place to greet old friends and meet new ones.
Come as early as 5 pm to enjoy happy hour prices. Or drop in up to 7:30 pm, as many of us will still be there. Have a beer and talk one-on-one with state party officers, local party leaders, and a number of genuinely good people.
Scroll down to register in advance. Unlike the DFL-led House, we are actually lowering the tax we charge for pre-registration. You can now register early for $7 on-line to help defray the cost of a selection of appetizers. Or pay $10 at the door (cash or check). Credit cards cannot be accepted at the door.
