The Bloomington League of Women Voters will hold a Nonpartisan Caucus Workshop beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27. The 90-minute workshop will be conducted in City Council Chambers at Civic Plaza, 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.

Precinct caucuses are on February 6. If you are curious as to how the caucus system works, who can participate, and specifics about DFL and Republican caucuses, get your questions answered during the workshop.

Representatives of both major political parties will highlight the caucus process and how individuals can play a role. After an overview of Minnesota caucuses by LWV Minnesota Civic Engagement Manager Nick Harper, State Secretary of the Minnesota GOP Barbara Sutter and DFL Training and Party Affairs Director Vicki Wright will speak about Republican and Democrat caucuses.
