On November 5, residents in the Edina School District will elect three members to the Edina School Board. Seven candidates have filed for election: Linda Friede, Julie Greene, Garrett Knudsen, Lou Nanne, Sarah Patzloff, Janie Shaw and Leny Wallen-Friedman.

Join us at a school board candidate forum sponsored by LWVE. This is a great opportunity to see and hear the candidates in person. Candidates will answer one question they were given in advance and will take written questions from the audience.

This school board election is very important.  The candidates running offer some very real choices on the direction of education in the Edina School System.  Submit a question that will help you in determining your vote.  Absentee (early) voting starts on September 20.

If you are driving north on Highway 100, be aware that the exit at 50th Street may be closed for construction.  The detour takes you to the next exit further north, at Excelsior, and re-routes you back south.  The southbound exit at Vernon Ave is open.
