This event raises money for the Jon & Anne Neu Family as they continue their life story living alongside ALS – Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Anne Neu is a well known campaign staffer and is currently the Executive Director of the House Republican Campaign Committee. Her husband, Jon, is a Registered Nurse and was diagnosed with ALS in August of 2013. Jon is no longer working as he is in a wheelchair, can no longer breathe on his own and cannot communicate without the use of electronic communication software. Anne & Jon have five homeschooled children and created a touching, yet hilarious blog sharing their journey with ALS. The family's faith keeps them strong during this challenging time, yet the community around them feel compelled to help. The We Are One Project raises funds for ongoing medical costs and future education needs of their children.
