Join Republicans from Senate Districts 49 and 50 in demonstrating our spirit for Bloomington’s Heritage Days Parade on Saturday, September 16.

This is a family-friendly event.  Children are welcome to walk the parade route with us.

We will gather at 10 am, and the parade will kick-off at 10:30 am.

The parade will take the same route we walked last year.  Park in or near the Kennedy High School Parking lot.  We will assemble along 3^rd Avenue on the south side of Old Shakopee Road.  We will be in position 73.  We will walk west along 102^nd Street, turning north on Lyndale.  (See the map)  It will be a level walk through shady neighborhoods of southeast Bloomington.

We will be marching to support our candidates running in the Bloomington races for City Council and School Board.

Wear Red!  Have fun!  Bring a smile!  We need people to carry our banner, give out candy, carry signs, and wave flags.

The Bloomington Heritage Days parade website contains further information, including a map of the parade route.  The Heritage Days Festival offers many booths and entertainment venues to reward those who wish to remain past the end of the parade.
